How it works?
Here’s how it works: 1. You place your order. 2. Your personal shopper makes the purchase using a Beer Butler credit card. 3. It is only after we have the final cost of your groceries that we then calculate the final tip, delivery and service fee that we will charge your card.
Is there a minimum order?
Nope, there is no minimum for orders.
Is there a maximum amount of deliveries allowed in one day?
Nope! You can order as much as you want!
How do replacements work?
When something is out of stock at the store, we will text or call you first to see if you would like to replace the unavailable item with something else. We do our best to replace it with something similar and will always get your approval before the purchase if possible.
During checkout, you can choose specific replacements for any item, or ask for no replacement of an item. Please be aware that you will be refunded or charged for the difference of replacement items. If you don’t get a replacement you will be refunded for the out of stock item.
What if an item I want is not available on your site?
No worries! If you do not see an item in the app or have something unusual for us to pick up for you, use the Notes option at checkout. Please be as detailed as possible with brand, size, flavor and other descriptors for your Beer Butler.
Our Shoppers are happy to deliver special items for you whenever possible!
How do I add notes to my items?
You can add notes in the notes section during checkout. Please be specific as possible and make sure to leave your phone number.
Can I add items to my order after I have placed it?
Yes! Send a text to (315) 967-3379 or email/instant message email@example.com and we’ll get the change out to your butler as soon as possible. You can add items to your order up until one hour prior to the delivery window.
To add an item, select Your Orders from the menu in the app, then select the order.
Click Add Item or Add Special Request and input whatever you need.
Save your updated order, and your shopper will get a notification that you have updated the order!
How can I see the status of my order?
After you place the order, select Your Orders from the menu to view it.
The status can be one of the following:
• Open – The order has been placed, but a Shopper in the area has not claimed it yet.
• Claimed – The order has been claimed by a Shopper, but they have not viewed the shopping list yet.
• Shopping – The Shopper has viewed the shopping list and is most likely in the store.
• Processed – The Shopper has completed the order and processed your card in the app for payment.
• Delivered – The Shopper has completed the delivery, and you should have your Beer Butler receipt in your email!
What can I expect when my driver gets here?
Customers ordering on Beer Butler will be required to provide their date of birth at checkout to confirm they are 21 or older. When the order is delivered, a recipient 21 or older must be present to sign for the delivery and show proof of legal age with a valid photo ID, as well.
No orders containing alcohol will be delivered to any visibly intoxicated persons. No alcohol will be left unattended.
If these requirements are not met at delivery, the alcohol items will not be delivered and the customer will not be charged for the value of the alcohol, excluding any delivery fees, bottle deposit fees or tip.
